A wave of relief washed over Nash upon hearing her words; he was so over talking at this point. In fact, if she had pushed it any further, he probably would have gotten himself in deeper than he already had. His goal behind fastening his lips to her neck, was to silence himself, and so far, it was working. Continuing to suck at the same swatch of skin, he dropped his hand from hers, and balanced himself evenly on the mattress above her, making sure not to lay any weight on her tiny frame. His brow furrowed immediately as he felt her push him away, but he obeyed her command and pulled his head back to see what was wrong.
Releasing a small huff of air in the form of a quiet laugh, he hung his head, slowly shaking it from side to side, before noticing that he was still wearing his boxers. “You’re right.” he agreed, pushing himself away from the bed, as he dropped his final article of clothing to the ground. “Problem solved.” he stated in an arrogant tone, as he stood shamelessly in front of her. Reaching forward, he grabbed the condom off the mattress. Maintaining eye contact with her, he opened the foil wrapper, and rolled on the condom.
Macy giggled softly when he rose from her, finally getting the show on the road. She had to keep her eyes trained above his waist, trying to maintain eye contact with him. Her cheeks were flushed and she didn’t dare let her eyes wander from his. “Good.” She managed, her voice low as he reached for the wrapper beside her. A slight smile played on her lips. He was obviously proud of himself right now, displaying the parts he so often bragged about to other people. Although she did have to admit he knew exactly what he was doing. ”Come here.” She murmured. She reached her hands towards him, wanting to embrace him.
I played last night, and we won. I’m sensing a trend here.
Ahh, see?! Now they have to let you play every game!

In returning the sentiment, Nash spaced on the fact that it would open up the window for them to talk. A few moments ago, he was about to get laid - now he was falling head first into a conversation about feelings. He was disappointed in himself, and wanted out of this; but at the same time, didn’t want to hurt Macy’s feelings for some reason. She seemed so open, sincere, and almost fragile right now. And despite the front that he put up, he wasn’t a bad guy that set out to hurt the people that he cared about. It just happened sometimes.
His brow furrowed slightly at her words, and he stilled the movement her hand was doing with her hair. He recognized that action as one that she would do when she was uncertain, insecure, bored, etc., really she did it often for many reasons; but this felt like she was uncomfortable. “Babe… If I didn’t want to say it, I wouldn’t have.” he stated matter-of-factly, though still unsure of where he stood on how much he meant those three words. Dipping his head back to her neck, he began to leave a more lasting mark on her skin.
Macy felt her worries ease away as he spoke, reassuring her that he did in fact love her and meant it. Her hand dropped the curl she was twirling around her finger and placed it on the back of his head, absent mindedly caressing his own hair, feeling the need to anchor herself down to something. “Okay, okay, I’ll stop talking now.” She said, letting her head tilt gently back onto his pillow, allowing him to leave his mark on her neck. Although her parents were strict about her and Nash, she had become an expert at covering up any marks she was left with, so she usually enjoyed him being so close to her instead of pushing him off.
“Ah,” She exclaimed suddenly, pushing him away from her neck. “No, no, this isn’t fair.” She said, crossing one of her arms over her exposed chest. “You’re wearing more clothing than I am.” She finished, her voice lowering into a murmur, already letting herself slip back into her previous state of arousal.
That’s ridiculous. They have to put you in next time! Now they know what an asset you are.

Nash froze after hearing her first words, hoping that he had completely imagined what she just told him. It was when she repeated it, before burying her head into his neck, that he really began to panic inside. That was a stupid word, and there was no way she really meant it. The only person he had ever said that to, aside from family members, was Savannah. That was dumb, too - seeing as though when they were together, he was too young to even know what love was. Aside from her, he had never said those words back to a girl, and he wasn’t sure what to do. Praying that she would keep her current position, so that his face wouldn’t screw him over, Nash’s mind began working overtime.
Maybe he could just act like he didn’t hear her. Twice. Fuck. When she made eye contact with him again, he clenched his jaw slightly, in order to maintain a straight face. “I know.” he nodded at her cover-up compliment, but the entire situation had killed the atmosphere in the room. It was awkward. And he was sure that he wasn’t the only one that felt that way. Nash was still unsure as to whether he should just continue with what they were doing, or if he should return the sentiment, even if he didn’t mean it. Shifting his weight, he pulled his right hand up from the bed, and tucked a few stray hairs behind her ear, before gently turning her head back towards him. “Hey.” he whispered softly, encouraging her to make eye contact with him. “I love you, too.”
Macy stilled for a minute at his response. It seemed odd, almost forced, and she could feel her eyebrows knitting together in confusion. “Oh.” She managed, but then his hand was under her chin, turning her to look at him. His next words seemed more genuine and she relaxed slightly, but she knew he obviously hadn’t known how to react to her sudden outburst of emotion. It was fine with her if he didn’t want to say he loved her, but she had to give him credit for actually doing it. She let out a breath and nodded, trying to plaster her face with a small smile.
“Thanks.” She said softly, mimicking his tone and letting her muscles relax again. “You don’t…have to say it if you don’t want to.” She said, wanting to let him know it was okay with her. “I just wanted to let you know.” She reached up with one hand to twirl a stray piece of hair around her fingers, intertwining her free hand with his that rested near her face.
A couple of idiots got in a fight on the field, and no one could tackle, or catch a ball to save their worthless lives.
People on our own team got into a fight? Oh, baby, I’m sorry. Did you get put in?

The light pressure at the back of his head, and the overall eagerness she was displaying, elicited a muffled laugh from Nash’s mouth. But he quickly silenced himself as to not make her self conscious. He was well aware of how she saw herself, and he wasn’t always innocent in her self image. But for the most part, he thought her body was perfect, and she was making a big deal about nothing. Returning to his task, and hoping she wouldn’t clam up on him, he was abruptly stilled as her hands began peeling off her panties. Lifting himself off of her, he allowed her space to remove the article of clothing. Though he had never told her, she was the only girl he had ever gone down on. Savannah hardly let him touch her, and there was no way he was putting that much effort into a slutty hook up.
Sliding back up her body, his mind was set on shedding the last garment from her skin. Placing all of his weight into his left palm, his right hand grazed the side of her abdomen, before slipping between her back and the sheets. With a little assistance from her arched back, his thumb unhooked the clasp on her bra. Dragging the final item down her arms, he tossed it haphazardly onto the ground behind him, before moving back up to her neck. “Did I tell you how hot you looked tonight?” he asked quietly, before sucking at a spot just beneath her ear for a few moments. “Because you were really fucking hot.” he answered, pausing to soothe the swatch of skin with his tongue. Pulling his head back away from her neck, he caught her gaze; the dimly lit room was more than bright enough for him to take in her features. “But right now… you look beautiful, babe.” He didn’t have to love a girl to tell her what she wanted to hear.
Macy let her arm snake around him, letting her hand rest on his back as he moved up and unhooked her last article of clothing. Letting her body sag back down onto his bed, her breathing became shallow as he began to work at a sensitive spot on her neck, and she tried to concentrate on what he was saying. He pulled away, and although she was mostly focused on the fact that from the waist down her body felt on fire, she registered that he was complimenting her, and she wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling him close to her.
Her lips crashed onto his in a strange urgency, and she lingered for a few moments before loosening her hold and pulling away to study his face. “I love you, Nash.” She said softly, moving her legs to squeeze on either side of his hips. “I love you.” She blurted out again, pulling herself closer to him and burying her face in his neck. She placed short kisses just underneath his jaw, not really being one to leave her mark on his skin. Just as quickly as she had begun, she stopped short and pulled away again to look him in the eyes. “You, um, you looked good, too. You always look good.” She said, biting her bottom lip and averting her eyes from his.
Yeah, but it’s alright. What happened at the football game? I heard we lost but…what happened?
